Need your own email account? Free is about as such as you want to pay? You can try Hotmail or Juno and they'll work just fine, but if you need a little extra try Personal Connections. Not only will you get a free email account but you'll also get a web page you can edit online! Our favorite feature is the ability to easily password protect a page so only your friends can read it. Then you can put up a map to your next house party or funny pictures of your boss!

 

The Fatsofa Pointcast Channel

If you would like to get the latest Fatsofa news broadcast to your PC try Pointcast. If you haven't used it yet, you can set up connections to a large variety of sites such as The Seattle Times, CNN, Wired Interactive and Fatsofa. Then at times you determine, the Pointcast program on your computer hooks up over the internet and retrieves the content you selected for you to view at you leisure. If you use Netscape, clicking on the Pointcast icon will most likely bring up at screen asking if you want to save the connection file. Say yes, select someplace on your computer you'll remember and go in and click on the file to continue the installation. If you have any questions or comments, let us know!
